Animal Euthanasia

Animal euthanasia is the humane and intentional act of ending an animal's life to relieve suffering caused by illness, injury, or age-related decline. Performed by a licensed veterinarian, the procedure is quick, painless, and carried out with compassion to ensure the animal’s comfort and dignity in its final moments.

Human Euthanasia

Human euthanasia is the act of intentionally ending a person’s life to relieve suffering, typically due to a terminal illness or unbearable pain. In Canada, this practice is legally regulated as Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), where eligible individuals can choose a peaceful, dignified death with the help of a licensed healthcare provider, under strict legal and ethical guidelines.
